Share information and expertise among lawyers practising in immigration, citizenship and refugee law; identify common problems experienced by practitioners in their daily work; develop positions and constructive suggestions; and foster a continuing dialogue with interested government departments such as Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Canada Border Services Agency, the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Provincial Nominee Program and the Department of Justice as to how issues can be resolved in a manner that is just and equitable for Canadian citizens, permanent residents and potential immigrants to Canada.
